We are looking for creative and technically knowledgeable Senior Associates, Associates, Senior Lighting Designers and Lighting Designers to join our studio in Clifton, Oxfordshire and Dubai.

Responsibilities would include working within a team environment on all aspects of the lighting design process from concept to completion, attending design and site meetings in the UK, UAE and overseas, as well as supervising the work of lighting designers within the studio.

Senior Associates and Associates

Applicants should have a minimum of ten to fifteen years’ experience in independent professional lighting design. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate excellent creative, technical, commercial, project management and communication skills.

Only applicants with professional independent lighting design experience will be considered. Applicants will be expected to show examples of their completed exterior and interior work where their management skills, leadership and design input has been extremely significant. As well as creative and technical skills, candidates will need excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop and DIALux. Knowledge of BIM/Revit would be beneficial but not essential.

Senior Lighting Designers

Applicants should have a minimum of five years’ experience in independent professional lighting design. Only applicants with professional independent lighting design experience will be considered. Candidates should have a strong portfolio of completed exterior and interior projects. As well as creative and technical skills, and an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop and DIALux. Knowledge of BIM/Revit would be beneficial but not essential.

Lighting Designers

Applicants should have at least one year’s experience within independent lighting design and have Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and Photoshop skills. An understanding of InDesign, visualisation programmes and other lighting related packages such as DIALux would be beneficial. BIM/Revit experience would also be advantageous but not essential.

Excellent written and spoken English is essential.

Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and includes bonus opportunities. Positions within our Dubai studio enjoy a tax-free environment subject to personal taxation circumstances.

Please note that our Oxfordshire studio is in the rural hamlet of Clifton, therefore candidates would need a car to travel to the studio as there is no public transport available.
